Melissa Greenhouse - Director, Logistics and Client Services
BBA in Hotel/Restaurant Management, James Madison University, 1988

Melissa was hired by Stouffer Hotels and Resorts for 6 years and held positions as a Management Trainee, Front Office Manager and Corporate sales. Prior to Meeting Solutions, Melissa was employed as a corporate and association meeting planner for Meetings USA which manages Corporate and Association clients. Currently, Melissa oversees the management of accounts including all planning, logistics and marketing support.

 

Richard Deller - Director, Operations and Finance
BBA in International Business, Economics Minor, James Madison University, 1988
MBA in International Finance (AGSIM), American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), 1995

Richard worked for First Maryland Bancorp for 5 years as a commercial lender, credit analyst, and distressed loan analyst. Following his graduate work, he was employed at the World Trade Center Institute where he developed and managed international trade and finance conferences as well as managed the financial operations of the organization. Currently, Rick oversees all the business operations for Meeting Solutions and all customer accounts. Additionally, Rick manages all development aspects of our registration web sites. 

 

Jennifer Whiting - Director, Business Development
Bachelor of Science, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Minor in Tourism (Cum Laude), University of Wisconsin-Stout, 1992

Jennifer was hired by Stouffer Hotels and Resorts for 7 years and held positions as a Management Trainee, Front Office Manager and Senior Sales for 6 years managing the Corporate and Association sales for the Northeast district.  Jennifer served on the Executive Board of the local Professional Convention Management Association chapter and is a Past President of the Chesapeake Chapter. Currently, she manages all sales for MSI and oversees the planning and logistics for all corporate and association clients.

 

Julie Henderson - Associate Director, Client Services
Master of Science in Education, University of New Haven, 1995

Prior to joining MSI, Julie was a corporate meeting planner with Arthur Anderson where she coordinated small meetings in various locations and handled all logistics for the event. Currently, Julie manages various aspects of meeting planning, implementation and post event follow up. Additionally, Julie oversees all web and phone registration activity and customer service issues.

 

Kelly Morehead - Manager, Logistics and Client Services
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing, University of Baltimore, 1999

Kelly worked for three years in fundraising and event planning at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. Currently, Kelly assists with all event registration, on-site support, pre and post-event procedures and oversees coordination for all associated event collateral.

 

Kelly Garceau - Manager, Registration and Account Services
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing and a Minor in Communications, Villanova University, 2003

Kelly assisted the NFL Baltimore Ravens Marketing Department and her responsibilities included coordinating VIP and corporate visits to Ravens training camp, managing team autograph sessions, organizing community group visits to camp, participating in special events such as the Ed Block Courage Awards, and assisting with yearbook sales, raffles, and other promotional activities.  Kelly also worked with the ABC-Channel 2 Creative Services Department writing weekly primetime television line-ups, attending promotional events and press conferences, and assisting to produce two promotional spots. Kelly assisted with the management of the Microsoft You are MSN Tour coordinating 65 team members worldwide.  Additionally, Kelly oversaw all on-site management responsibilities for over 20 tours.  Currently, Kelly works within our Registration and Account Services area assisting planners with events, registration and on-site support. 

 

Betina Peyton - Marketing Coordinator
Bachelor of Arts American Studies, Mary Washington College

Prior to working with Microsoft, Betina worked at the National Business Travel Association as a Marketing Assistant and Manager, at the American Psychiatric Association as a Marketing Assistant, and at the National Association for Music Education (MENC) as a Marketing Assistant.  Currently, Betina’s main responsibilities include managing the overall government marketing team budget, including reporting, analyzing, and assisting each marketing specialist with their individual budget.  She is also responsible for the tracking and payment of all invoices for her team as well as other projects as assigned by the marketing manager.

 

Suzanne Martinez Garner - Director, Marketing
Bachelor of Science, Marketing (Cum Laude), Western New England College

Suzanne worked for International Data Products and the Director of Marketing. She developed IDP’s print ad campaigns and coordinated trade shows including determining which shows were right for their market, securing the space, purchasing the booth and printing targeting collateral pieces for the customers. Suzanne worked for Microsoft as a Senior Marketing Specialist for 5 years and developed the goals and strategy for the Dell and Microsoft Government direct mail campaigns. She coordinated all Partner Led Seminars including the Army, Air Force and Navy Symposiums.  Currently, Suzanne oversees all direct mail campaigns including invitation, target audience and demand generation for Microsoft events.
